Medical tourism promises Leg Liposuction for less
To help drive the cost of expensive cosmetic surgery such as liposuction there has been a rise in patients who choose to take their business outside the US borders.
For example: Mexico offers bargain treatment prices and lush recovery resorts. Some experts feel the trend will continue and may turn out to be the hottest niche in the next few years. An estimated 60 billion was spent last year alone industry analysts have estimated.
The central hub in the Mexican “medical tourism” market is a teeming city named Monterrey. This city is just a 70 minute plane flight from Houston or a 2 hour drive south of the border in Texas. Interestingly enough, many of the hospitals in Monterrey are owned by American companies.
“It’s a buyers’ market nowadays because the start-up clinics are going to be very careful not to screw up,” said health care economist Christopher Jones.
